New R2 Photos Posted 10/20/2011   Grant made the paper
Summer is almost over, Yes that’s correct, so what’s new, not much. R2-D2 is working again, after I dismantled him following DroidCon. I just got him wired up and running in time for another event mid September.

Grant started school today, 8th grade - wow top of the food chain. He’s playing soccer again for United (thank god he got off that horrible Pasesetter team) and wrestling starts in a couple of months.

Jennifer and I took a mini vacation to Traverse City, enjoyed the waterfront and winery’s. The weather is great, not to hot, not to cold. Lots of yard work, put new carpet in the house, and still thinking about remodeling the bathroom and sun porch. Yea right!
Cancun
Back to Cancun, last November turned out to be a great trip, Clay, Kim and I had an awesome time. Laying by the pool, eating massive amounts of food, drinking till we could not drink anymore.

The weather was great at 84, each day. The water was nice and the ocean was better. We stayed at the Crown Paradise. Been their several times before good times, nice people, and the best thing of all, it was only about 40% full. Never had to wait for anything.

We started our trip hanging out at the World Club, then flying first class, by the time we got to Cancun we were ready to relax. It was first class all the way.

Work/Jobs
I am still working at Impact-Products as the Manager, of Information Technology. I have a small department of 3, one programmer analyst and one network administrator and a data entry/jr. programmer.

We handle everything from daily computer operations, software development; tech support and training. Its definitely busy, I average around 45 hours per week.

Family News
As you know my sister Kelli and her husband Doug adopted a baby boy. Casey Alexander was born on Kelli’s birthday April 8th. He is getting big at 3. Which is surprising because my sister feeds him crap like gold fish crackers, and cheese. Kelli give him a hamburger or a taco like normal kids!

Hobbies
I enjoy just about everything that deals with nice weather and getting outside. Baseball games, playing soccer, rock climbing, even snow skiing, Did I tell you I just purchased my first Harley? During the summer I play tennis about 2-3 times a week weather permitting.

As for those inside activities, I enjoy a good movie and a bottle of Chardonnay. My son Grant and I like the computer, video games and watching sports.

Yes I am a Star Trek fan, and not all of us are geeks. If it wernt for Star Trek do you realy think people would have cell phones?

Whats Next
What to do in life is never an easy choice. I plan on spending as much time with my son as possible. My friends and family are important, as they are always their when I need them. Hopefully this summer we will see R2 come to life. Yes I know I have been saying that but you got to have goals. The wave running will see water again come spring, and I hope to put more than 50 miles on the Harley this year. To my sister I promise I will make it to Texas for a visit.

In all if you don’t have a plan things just fall apart. So there you have it my plan for 2009.
More information coming coon...
My Movies
OK I'm a movie buff, and I would rather buy a move for 10 or 12 bucks, than rent it for a night. See something you like or havent seen in awhile just let me know.

Check back soon cause I seem to add a new movie once or twice a month.
My Blog
Welcome to my blog. Here I will express my feelings about just about anything. Why not, everyone else has one of these stupid blogs, so why shouldn’t I?

OK I love CNN Headline News. No, not for the news who the hell cares what’s going on in the world. They have the hottest news chicks on TV. Robin Meade, Adrianna Costa, Christi Paul (graduated from the University of Toledo), Susan Hendricks. And wait there are more. Don’t forget Linda Stouffer. I find myself watching more news than ever before yet I still don’t care about world affairs.

What’s up with Tony Packo’s. Founded in 1932, that’s 75 years in business. You would think that in all that time they would have hired at least one smart American that would stop cutting those hot dogs in half. What’s up with that? You order a dog, you want the dog. Put the ½ dog on the kids menu and stop ripping us off.
