My very own R2, how cool is that? Well my son wanted to be R2-D2 for Halloween, and our only choice was to make his costume. I found this Rubbermaid dome top trash can at the store and started painting. Everyone thought it was pretty cool. As you can see I dont have much talent making things so I hit the web looking for ideas and stumbled across the R2 Builders Club. It just so happened a group of builders were having a cookout that weekend. I joined and went, the rest is history. Meeting guys like Ben, Jason & Mark got me hooked. Their droid's were so cool I had to have one of my own.
